The fringe is growing!

As iv said before i go through a cycle with my hair. I want a fringe, i get one cut, i want it out, i grow it out, i want a fringe etc...

A few months ago i had a fringe cut and after seeing some pictures on tumblr of girls with gorgeous hair and no fringe's i was swaying towards the "i want to grow it out" phase! So last night i had a play and its actually long enough to twist it up out of the way :)

New doo!

Me and my hair have a repetative relationship. It starts off with a fringe, i eventually get bored and grow it into a side fringe then get bored and have a full fringe cut back in. Lately though iv been trying to grow my side fringe out and not have one at all...

But in the words of Britney Spears "oops i did it again"!!...

Curly wurly??

A while ago when i bought my new hairdryer i got a voucher for a free mini Umberto Giannini product. Iv always tried to get the perfect wavy hair so picked up 'curl friends'

It says on the bottle to spritz evenly through dry hair and leave or style as desired. So tonight I washed my hair like normal and dried it, trying to pull it a little straight as my hair is naturally a little wavy but huge!! When it was dried and sort of straight I sprayed this through. I didnt really notice it doing anything so sprayed a little more and seperated with my fingers and ta da...

Its slightly wavy and quite natural looking. It smells gorgeous and does make my hair nice and shiny. I definitely think you need some natural wave to your hair for it to do anything though. I dont think id actually buy this but as a freebe its ok, id never wear my hair naturally wavy (due to the frizz and size of the bouffant!) but im quite happy to leave the house like this :)

Im back...

Sorry for the absence. This past week me and the bf have been house sitting and trying to make the most of a week off work and the sunshine :) But throughout the week I have picked up a few new bits n bobs that i thought id share with you.

Half way through the week my hairdryer died! So an urgent trip to boots to buy a new one. I didn't have a clue what to go for, all i knew was the past two hairdryers id had were Nicky Clarke ones and they'd both died on me!! My boots didn't have the best choice but i did see this

I loved the packaging and the bright coloured attachments and it was half price, reduced from £60 to £30 so i fell for it and so far so good. It comes with 3 attachments and a brush. Also in the packaging was a gift card for a free Umberto Giannini mini product so back to boots were i picked up Natural Curls Styling Spray

Iv got naturally wavy hair but it never looks nice just left in its wild naturalness!! So hopefully this will turn my mane into gorgeous beach waves (wishful thinking!)

Also last week i turned up at the house with a load of wood and a great big smile hoping my bf would offer to make up my new make up storage i bought from Ikea. (I really didnt think it would come all flat with loads of screws and nails and as soon as i started i had to give up... diy is not for me!) The smile must have worked as i now have some new storage for all my favourite bits

Its not the most exciting looking thing but it serves its purpose. Im undecided wether to paint it or stain it or stick some pretty things on it??
